Den Kit Co. - The Forever Gift

‘The Forever Gift’ is a Christmas advert from Scribble Room Animation for the Den Kit Co., celebrating the timeless magic of Den Kits.

The aim was to keep things simple and evoke a sense of nostalgia, with a little pull on the heartstrings. I wrote a soft, piano-led piece with some subtle sound design. I especially like the airy, atmospheric texture that plays over the father’s flashback as he remembers building dens as a child — it returns at the end when he and his son share a moment in the den, bringing the story nicely full circle.
